On December 9th once again we opened our doors and hosted an open house. A variety of vehicles were present ranging from numerous w123s, WVO powered vehicles, a smattering of hot w201s, numerous European spec. machines, a genuine AMG Hammer, and even a Unimog. A good time was had by all, and the weather was spectacular. Thanks to all who helped put this together and keep an eye out for the next event; likely a tech session.
We spent the weekend up at Road Atlanta to watch the historics show their worth on the track and were very pleased to have the opportunity to test the 190e 16v out on the track. Also, our customer and friend, Thomas had the opportunity to do the same with his WVO powered 240d. There is a good chance he is the first person to lap Road Atlanta in a WVO powered vehicle. Other highlights include running the autocross track in the new Lotus Elise. Here are pictures of the event for you to enjoy.
In 2004 we attended the MBCA Concours Judging school at Jekyll Island off the coast of Georgia. After the school a MBCA concours was held. We are proud to say that our 1978 280slc won second in class.
On December 10, 2004, OWA held its first open house to celebrate the expansion of its facility. Numerous customers and fellow aficionados were on hand as well as a stout supply of fabulous home brewed beer. A good time was had by all.
